I posted this picture up on Facebook. This was the first picture I posted w/o my braces. I expected a few likes, mostly from close friends & family members. I didn’t expect that many likes. 60 likes. It surprised me. I had that feeling of actually being beautiful. People I least expected liked it. People I haven’t talked to since middle school liked it. It surprised me so much. & the fact that the guys I liked freshman year & the guy I liked sophomore year all liked it made me smile even more.
& it’s the fact I didn’t post it to get attention like all the other girls do on Facebook who post their body & get a million likes or only look pretty for a picture to post online. I took this picture right before I left to get my senior portraits done. I felt pretty. Not only did people on Facebook agree, but so did my mom<3
